The Crossbow is a ranged weapon that was added in the update of Devblog 70. It is 20% stronger in damage than the Hunting Bow and has more range but has a 500% slower reload time. The Crossbow also has 70% more projectile velocity than the Hunting Bow.
Crafting
In able to craft the Crossbow, you need the following ingredients:

Damage
All damage tests have been conducted against unarmoured and unclothed players using Wooden arrow and are accurate as of Dev Blog 107.
The Crossbow will deal a specified amount of damage depending on the type of body part that has been hit:
- Non-significant body parts will always take 30 damage.
- Feet
- Shins
- Knees
- Hands
- Elbows
- Upper Arms
- Major body parts will always suffer 60 damage.
- Thighs
- Posterior
- Groin
- Stomach
- Chest
- Back
- Shoulder
- A Headshot will deal a random amount between 102 - 121 damage, regardless of the angle of incidence.

- The Crossbow is famously known for its ability to shoot arrows through walls. This is very effective when used properly.
